Role Title: Frontend Engineer

Summary
We are looking for a Frontend Engineer to build fast, accessible, and maintainable user interfaces that delight customers and support business growth. In this role, you will collaborate closely with product, design, and backend engineering to deliver high-quality web experiences, improve performance, and strengthen our frontend foundations.

Key Responsibilities
• Build and ship responsive, accessible UI features for web applications using modern frontend technologies.
• Translate product requirements and design mockups into clean, reusable, and well-tested components.
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to refine user flows, usability, and UI consistency.
• Integrate frontend applications with APIs and backend services; handle loading states, errors, and edge cases gracefully.
• Improve application performance through profiling, optimization, and thoughtful architecture decisions.
• Maintain and evolve a scalable component library/design system and ensure consistent UI patterns.
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure reliable releases and reduce regressions.
• Participate in code reviews, share feedback respectfully, and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.
• Monitor and debug production issues, contribute to post-incident reviews, and implement preventative fixes.
• Document technical decisions, implementation details, and onboarding guidance for long-term maintainability.

Must-Have Requirements
• Professional experience building modern web user interfaces in a production environment.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript, including cross-browser and responsive design considerations.
• Experience with a modern frontend framework (React, Vue, Angular, or similar) and component-based architecture.
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and commitment to inclusive, usable design.
• Familiarity with API integration (REST and/or GraphQL) and client-side data handling patterns.
• Experience writing automated tests and maintaining quality through CI workflows.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners and communicate trade-offs clearly.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications
• Experience with Next.js (or other SSR/SSG frameworks) and performance-focused rendering strategies.
• Experience building or maintaining design systems and reusable component libraries.
• Knowledge of state management patterns (Redux, Zustand, MobX, RxJS, etc.) and when to apply them.
• Familiarity with observability tools (logging, metrics, error tracking) and frontend monitoring.
• Understanding of security best practices on the frontend (XSS prevention, auth patterns, secure storage).
• Experience working in agile teams and delivering iteratively with a focus on user outcomes.
