Role Summary:
We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to build polished, high-performing user experiences for our web applications. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver accessible, scalable interfaces and set a high bar for frontend engineering quality.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and maintain modern, responsive web user interfaces using JavaScript/TypeScript and a leading frontend framework (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular).
• Translate product requirements and design prototypes into accessible, production-ready features with excellent UX and performance.
• Own frontend architecture decisions, including component design, state management, routing, and API integration patterns.
• Partner with designers to implement consistent UI patterns and contribute to a shared design system/component library.
• Ensure application performance through profiling, optimization, and best practices (lazy loading, code splitting, caching, rendering strategies).
• Write high-quality, maintainable code and advocate for engineering excellence through code reviews, testing, and documentation.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to define API contracts and deliver reliable end-to-end functionality.
• Improve developer experience by refining tooling, build pipelines, linting, and CI/CD workflows.
• Champion web standards, accessibility (WCAG), and cross-browser compatibility.
• Mentor other engineers and contribute to team practices that support learning, quality, and delivery predictability.

Must-Have Qualifications:
• 5+ years of professional frontend development experience with a strong portfolio of shipped web applications.
• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript, including modern language features and best practices.
• Strong experience with at least one modern frontend framework (React preferred; Vue/Angular welcome).
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and modern styling approaches (CSS Modules, Sass, styled-components, Tailwind, etc.).
• Experience integrating with REST and/or GraphQL APIs and handling authentication/authorization flows.
• Proven ability to write and maintain automated tests (unit/integration and/or end-to-end) using tools such as Jest, Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Strong debugging skills and familiarity with browser developer tools, performance profiling, and monitoring.
• Comfortable collaborating across disciplines (Product, Design, Backend, QA) and communicating technical trade-offs clearly.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
• Experience building or maintaining a design system or component library (Storybook experience is a plus).
• Familiarity with Next.js/SSR, SSG, and SEO considerations for modern web apps.
• Knowledge of accessibility best practices and experience conducting accessibility audits.
• Exposure to micro-frontend architectures or large-scale frontend codebases.
• Experience with real-time features (WebSockets), data visualization, or complex UI state management.
• Cloud/platform familiarity (AWS/GCP/Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
