Middle Frontend Developer

Summary
We’re looking for a Mid-Level Frontend Developer to build accessible, high-performing web experiences that are reliable, polished, and easy to use. In this role, you’ll collaborate with product, design, and engineering to deliver user-facing features end-to-end while continuously improving our UI quality, performance, and developer experience.

Key Responsibilities
• Build, test, and maintain responsive user interfaces using modern frontend technologies.
• Translate product requirements and design mockups into high-quality, accessible UI components.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to refine interaction patterns, visual consistency, and usability.
• Integrate frontend applications with APIs and backend services; handle loading, error, and edge states gracefully.
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code; contribute to shared component libraries and design systems.
• Improve application performance through profiling, optimization, and best practices (e.g., code splitting, caching, reducing bundle size).
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and consistent behavior across devices and screen sizes.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to team standards and best practices.
• Create and maintain automated tests (unit/integration/end-to-end as appropriate) and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve frontend defects; partner with stakeholders to prioritize fixes and improvements.

Must-Have Qualifications
• 3+ years of professional experience building modern web applications as a frontend developer.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern HTML/CSS (including responsive design).
• Hands-on experience with a modern frontend framework such as React, Vue, or Angular (React preferred if applicable).
• Solid understanding of component-driven development and state management patterns.
• Experience consuming REST and/or GraphQL APIs and working with asynchronous data flows.
• Working knowledge of frontend testing practices (e.g., Jest, Testing Library, Cypress/Playwright).
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and collaborative workflows (pull requests, code reviews).
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and commitment to building inclusive user experiences.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications
• Experience with Next.js/Nuxt or other SSR/SSG frameworks.
• Experience with design systems and UI libraries (e.g., Storybook, Material UI, Chakra, Tailwind).
• Performance optimization experience using Lighthouse, Web Vitals, and browser profiling tools.
• Familiarity with build tools and bundlers (Vite, Webpack, Rollup) and CI/CD concepts.
• Experience with internationalization (i18n), localization, and multi-language UI patterns.
• Exposure to security best practices on the frontend (e.g., XSS prevention, safe dependency usage).
• Experience mentoring junior developers or leading small feature initiatives.
